Billing Procedures at EVA Inc.

CREDIT CARD ON FILE

Many Equine Veterinary Associates clients enjoy the convenience and security of having their credit card on file at our EVA Inc., office.

First, we assure our clients that this confidential information is not kept on a computer but is securely stored at our office in hard copy form.

Second, the card is only charged as a convenience to a client, specifically when he or she cannot meet the veterinarian for the appointment or when he or she elects to have medications dropped off, left at the office, or shipped to a location. If requested, an itemized receipt can be mailed to the client when work is done, or some clients prefer receipts to be mailed on a monthly basis.

On some occasions, clients prefer to place their charges on a credit card even when they can be present for their appointment. We can take that credit card information in the field and process it when the veterinarian returns to the office. If the client does not request that the credit card information be kept on file at EVA, then the information is not retained, and the credit card information is collected at each visit.

For our clients’ convenience, we accept American Express, Master Card, and Visa. Regrettably, we do not accept Discover Card at this time.
